About ORVEXAVET

Founded in 1990, ORVEXAVET began as a specialist manufacturer of permanent livestock identification equipment for agricultural operations worldwide. What started as a single-press workshop producing ear tags for cattle ranches has grown into one of the most trusted names in industrial livestock identification across the globe.

The name ORVEXAVET combines the latin root orvex (to mark, to brand) with vet—veterinary. From day one, our mission was clear: build identification hardware that survives the punishing conditions of working agriculture and outlasts the animal it marks.

Our catalog covers six disciplined product lines:

• Ear Tags — visual and electronic identification for bovine and porcine herds
• Poultry Bands — numbered leg bands for breeding and exhibition flocks
• Neck & Collar Tags — permanent identification for dairy and stud animals
• Tattoo Equipment — pliers, ink, and digits for permanent mark registration
• Auction Tags — disposable identification for sale yard logistics
• Rabies Tags — certified aluminum vaccination tags meeting USD&A requirements

Every product ships from our own manufacturing facility. We own our injection-molding presses, tumble-deburring line, and laser-etching stations—no outsourced finishing. In-mold numbering and tamper-evident locking systems are produced under one roof, which lets us hold tolerances to ±0.05mm on every batch and trace raw resin lot to finished carton.

Our facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and audited annually. Materials are sourced exclusively from US and EU suppliers who can produce full material certificates on request.

ORVEXAVET products are used by commercial ranching operations, breeding associations, auction yards, university research programs, and government veterinary services across 18 countries. We ship more than 2.4 million identification units each year and maintain stock year-round for emergency herd-identification campaigns.

We build equipment that is meant to be used in mud, snow, heat, and rain. If a product fails in normal agricultural service, we replace it—no paperwork, no shipping fees. That warranty has stood unchanged since the day we opened the doors in 1990.
